Human Physiology
Human Physiology Teaching

iWorx offers 51 experiments and 173 exercises in cardiovascular, respiratory, and neuromuscular physiology and all of the components and courseware you need to conduct the labs. You can find an overview of the learning goals and outcomes for each exercise here. Design your own labs based on the experiments you want to teach using our unique LabsByDesign configurator or choose one of our teaching kits below which enables you to teach all of the human physiology labs.

LabsByDesign
LabsByDesign is the easiest and most cost effective way for you to design the physiology teaching lab that perfectly fits your curriculum. You can choose from more than 150 iWorx professionally authored lab experiments using a web-based selection guide. You simply check-off those labs you want to teach on a Web form and the LabsByDesign online configurator automatically tailors the necessary components from our complete line of data recording modules, sensors, electrodes, stimulators and other supporting accessories and courseware. One of our LabsByDesign technical consultants will then contact you to ensure the solution fits your requirements precisely - no more, no less.

Human Physiology Teaching Kits
iWorx teaching kits for human physiology include everything you need to conduct a comprehensive lab course consisting of 22 experiments and 76 exercises in cardiovascular, respiratory, and neuromuscular physiology. You can find an overview of the learning goals and outcomes for each exercise here. The HK/214S kit, which also has a high voltage stimulus isolator, supports 23 experiments with 80 exercises. Detailed instructions for each experiment and exercise are provided in the iWorx Physiology Laboratory Manual. Optional devices that can be used with the HK/214 include the HSM-300 Heart Sounds Microphone and GSR-200 Galvanic Skin Response Amplifier.

iWorx teaching kits are optimized for the iWorx high speed, high resolution 214 Recorder and supporting accessories. However, for National Instruments LabView users, iWorx course curriculum also supports National Instruments 6000 Series cards running NIDAQ v7.3 or greater, including the NI-DAQPAD-6015.

If you prefer to teach only a few of the experiments available, it may be more cost effective to use iWorx LabsByDesign configurator so you can tailor only the necessary components for your specific experiments of interest.
