EMG
Kinesiology is the study of human and nonhuman animal-body movements, performance, and function by applying the sciences of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, psychology, and neuroscience. When studying kinesiology, surface electromyography (sEMG or Surface EMG) is the measurement of choice. The RS-EMGx enables 4-8 channels of EMG recordings, or a combination of EMG and ECG recordings.
Measurements
- SEMG Measurements
- Maximal voluntary contraction
- Muscle Force
- Fatigue
- Recruitment
- Summation
- Incomplete Tetanus
- Complete Tetanus
- H-Reflex
Analysis
- Time Domain Analysis
- Recified EMG Data
- RMS ( Root Mean Square)
- Envelope EMG Data
- Filtering
- Mean Frequency
- Area Under The Curve
- Frequency Domain Analysis
- Power Spectral Density
ECG
In Addition to EMG, ECG signals can also be measured with the IX-BIOx recorder. Measuring 2 channels of ECG, Lead I and Lead II allows LabScribe software to calculate Lead III, aVR, aVF and aVL .
