iWorx offers wireless, implantable telemetry solutions for performing cardiovascular analyses in mice, rats and other laboratory animals. Each solution features LabScribe2 Blood Pressure and ECG software modules with built-in software routines to perform a number of advanced arterial and ventricular pressure calculations and ECG analyses.

LabScribe2 Software Interface for Data Sciences International (DSI) Telemetry Systems

iWorx IX-DS12 interface to Data Sciences International (DSI) Telemetry Systems was independently developed as a cost-effective, value-added alternative to DSI’s data acquisition offerings. The add-on software captures telemetry signals from up to 12 DSI transmitters for direct interface to iWorx LabScribe2 software for advanced blood pressure and ECG analyses. DSI implantable transmitters are designed to monitor and collect data from conscious, freely moving laboratory animals and are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate species and cage requirements.

LabScribe2 Blood Pressure Module

The LabScribe2 Blood Pressure Module acquires and analyzes data from blood pressure transducers. Data can be analyzed from ventricular and arterial signals in real-time.

The software automatically calculates common indices of function from the blood pressure signal where it can easily be exported to another program for further analysis.

iWorx ECG Analysis

LabScribe2 ECG Module

Worx LabScribe2 ECG Software Module is a powerful and user-friendly tool intended to automate the analysis of ECG data from a variety of species. Specific analysis templates are included to accurately delineate PQRST onset, durations and amplitudes. Custom templates can also be created based on unique ECG profiles and saved to a library for future use. Other features include beat averaging, beat classification and outlier removal based on abnormal R-R intervals, heart rate, noise and activity, Pointcaré plots and scattergrams and the ability easily extract source data and average data as images or text files.

The LabScribe2 ECG Software Module includes a comprehensive list of 24 calculations including R-R, PR, QT, QR and QTc intervals, QRS, T, P and TP durations, P, Q, R, S, T amplitudes and ST elevation. The software module is plug and play compatible with all iWorx data acquisition and analysis systems. A separate ASCII Text Import Module is also available that enables import of ECG data in text format that was recorded by any other acquisition program.
